Since it seems like we're not going to kill each other, yet, anyway, perhaps introductions are in order. I'm Aery. I don't have a surname. This is my friend Charlie. Similarly, no surname."
"My name is Antikythera Reluken." The Lilliputian girl zips in, hovering just over Aery's shoulder on her magnificent circuit-board wings.
Aery raises an eyebrow at her. The mini girl raises one back.
