Oh, so that was it...[b]"You saw that, huh?"[/b] He rubbed the back of his head, a nervous habit. Welp...now was as good a time as any to explain exactly [i]why[/i] he had said such words. Stoneheart was a pretty girl, but he hadn't even remembered her name...why would he confess love. Although a bit - not that you could see - shocked that Lockheart had come to such conclusion, Kazuto dropped his hand, resting it in his pocket like his other one. [b]"I was reading a love note out loud, not confessing."[/b] That felt good to say; secretly, he had been worrying that someone would've heard, and crucified him for getting 'rejected' so soundly. He wasn't the type of guy to say such mushy things, and if he would actually like a girl, he'd just ask them out on a date right then, rather than dragging it out and describing their beauty. 

With a sigh, the teenager regained his normal expression, even as his stomach growled rather abruptly. [b]"The rain's still pouring, but we-"[/b] He cut himself off as an announcement rang throughout the school, the cold, monotonous tone of the Principal, Kurogane Hazekage, drifting calmly through the speakers.

[i][b]"Greetings, faculty, staff, and students. Please report to the E-1 Auditorium for an important lecture on the happenings of the school."[/b][/i] As short and concise as always, the graying, crimson-haired Principal released the button as soon as he finished, leaving the speakers in silence.
