Deravan had been walking for a good while now, traveling on foot, shrouded by his black cloth as he passed from tree to tree, walking forwards. The image of his parent's death... every night it was haunting him. The humans had beaten them down as if they were simple animals. He continued to walk for a good while. He had been training to live in the woods, though not as a hunter as some creatures would think would be best suited here. No... he was more one with the shadows, though unlucky for him, he didn't find any animals in his travels yet. And those he found were hunted down by a pack of blood thirsty humans. He had continue to search for any, without any luck. It was as if nature was laughing at him in the shadows, taunting him. As he continued to move, he saw a building at a distance. He started to move towards it. At least during his travels, he found multiple berries and mushrooms. He only ate those that were consumable, those his mother showed him that were alright. Deep down, he was pained that he left his sister behind, but she wanted him to keep living, to stay away from the humans and hide in fear of them. This... was unacceptable for him. As he approched the building at a distance, he smelled something... strange... The smell was overwhelming for him, but as he looked at his small bag in his cloth, seeing no money. He sighed. He guessed water would do. As he entered the bar, the smell was even more overwhelming. Some people though saw him as he entered, eying him, his slightly silver fur showing up from his dark clothing. Deravan moved to the bar side, listening to what was happening, seeing the barowner actually spil the food of one of the customers, before the bar owner arrived. "What will it be?" he asks him. "Just water..." Deravan then says, with the barkeeper just eying him strangely, before sighing and then pouring water. "There you go... cheapo." he then says. To this, Deravan stared right into the kobold's eyes, looking at him dead in the eye, a dagger out, though not towards the kobold. He plunged the dagger on the table. "Look here buddy, I had been traveling for a good while, saw my parents get killed right in front of my eyes by a group of humans who only threated them as if they were animals for butcher. I lost everything cause of these people. Now your calling me a cheapo? See if you would act the same if you lost your parents and saw the humans dangle their head right in your face as they left they bodies to rot on the floor, and that only you and your sister survived cause you hid and survived by eating what the forest gave you." he says at the man, right in the face. The bar owner just gulp down his saliva as he looked at Deravan in the eyes, visibly intimidated and slightly scared now. "Alright alright... geez.... sorry..." the bar owner said, going back to work. People in the bar just stared at Deravan there, a slight awkward silence in the room as Deravan went back on his seat and drank his water in peace, grumbling. "Idiot... He should check what he says more." he says taking his dagger back now.
