Kazuto shrugged, left eye twitching slightly as he sat back in the uncomfortable metal folding chair. The yawn had come out unexpectedly loud, despite him trying to make it quiet and subtle - since one couldn't hold back a yawn, no matter how hard they tried. He noticeably didn't like the principal - everyone knew that. The man treated everyone like trash, and didn't even try to hide the fact. The only reason the government didn't fire him, was because of the pure amount of wealth the man possessed, being the Head of the Hazekage clan. The man could easily bribe whomever he wanted to do whatever he wanted, considering the funds under his control. Often, the man would try to get under Kazuto's skin, blatantly punishing him or anyone around him just to flaunt his power as principal. As he thought about this, Kazuto's hands tensed on the chair's arm-rests. "He sure is insane..." The boy grumbled, sharp brown eyes narrowing as the man continued his speech. ______ He was on a roll now, so Teiji's words were ignored, with only a minor disgusted glance from the Principal's emotionless red eyes. "Detention, And that is why I am initiating a strict 'No Violence' policy. I do not enjoy having to write paperwork to the parents of the...students whom get punished for their own idiotic actions." Principal Kurogane's eyes roamed over a gang of thugs near the middle, drifting over Teiji's face, before zeroing in on Kazuto, whom stared back with an intense expression. Tearing his eyes away from the three groups of troublemakers, Principal Kurogane took a step back from the podium, eyes closed and hands clasped behind his back. "Now, will you all-" "R-RUN! HAZEKAGE-SAMAAA-" A man, Assistant Principal Akuma Ookami, was usually a blank-faced, stoic man. He possessed white hair, slate gray eyes, and an emotionless expression - it was also evident that, despite Kurogane's beautiful wife, Akuma was homosexually attracted to the significantly older man. So, it was with surprise, fear, and over-whelming terror, did the students watch as Akuma fell onto the stage, bleeding from numerous wounds along his torso and body, his skin rapidly decaying as the blood began to turn a sickly gray-ish, syrupy color. Principle Kurogane, fortunately, was a worthy leader. He turned around instantly, eyes sharp as he began screaming out orders. "Children, stay calm! Leave the premises at a steady-ACK!" Akuma's decomposed form fell ontop of Kurogane's, rotten, perfectly flat teeth embedded deep into the man's neck. Silence reigned. "I-is this a joke?!" One random first-year screamed out, her voice frightened and hesitant. However, once both Akuma and Kurogane stood, Kurogane semi-bald, drooling, and with rotten, decaying gray skin...everyone knew that it wasn't a joke. Someone from the crowd screeched...and it was like a dam broke. Screaming, roars and cries of terror, people running every-which way. Apparently, another 'undead' managed to come out of the hallway, and into the crowd of panicking students. Within seconds, the 'infection' had spread like wild-fire. The school...it was a slaughter-house. ________________________________ Kurogane's eyes were glassy, as he stayed sitting down, even as some guy fell over the teenager's legs and face-planted. The boy's eyes were sobbing, and snot ran down his face. A bloody bite-mark was on his shoulder, his face rapidly graying. "P-please...KILL ME!!!" His scream tore through the gymnasium. Panic was everywhere...everyone was being bitten. Robotically, Kurogane looked down at the graying teenager. He recognized him...Hiei Jinase, from Class 1-A...a Junior. His mother often spent time with Kurogane's own mom, and although they had never been friends... Kurogane's foot slammed into the boy's face, brain-matter splattering all around the now bloodied floor. Even though they had never been friends...Kurogane still thought of him as human. His stomp had apparently broken him from his reverie, as Kurogane stood, eyes empty as he stared down at Aura. Blood had splattered onto his white-shirt, black blazer, and some on his neck, but Kurogane couldn't feel it. "We need to go." He said, voice monotone and dead as he instinctively grabbed the girl's hand. Groaning now filled the auditorium, and he couldn't...he couldn't trust anyone. Undead were shambling everywhere, the screams of the dying filled the air, and Kurogane moved. Pulling Aura along, he shoved and brushed passed everyone and everything, kicking open the doors and blazing a path down the hall-way. Dully, at the back of his mind, he realized that his speed may have been too fast for Aura to keep up with, and he robotically slowed down until they were near a maintenance room, the vibrant red 'fire-proof' doors standing out in the now empty corridor. "In here." Kurogane breathed, shouldering open the unlocked door and nearly stumbling in. It was a large room, with steel-walls, and a wooden counter running along each wall. Different tools and materials were placed on the walls, tables, and in paint-buckets, and a fire-axe was placed, in a glass-case, at the far wall. It was a glass-case...until Kurogane's fist broke through, grasping the wooden-grip of the fire-axe. "..." His bloodied knuckles were ignored, in favor of the boy shambling over to the door, locking it, and then collapsing onto his butt, back against the red door, staring down at the blade of the axe. When had he even gotten it? Oh yeah...a few seconds ago. Had he just...killed a man? The thought registered in his mind, and his eyes began to clear. He had. He had killed a man. But...that didn't matter for now. He had to wake himself up...he had to focus. Aura...she was here, wasn't she? He pinched his skin, flinching slightly from the sharp pain. He was okay. He was alive.
