(Probably not, but I usually think of it as a Hero is liked and supported by the law/ citizens, where a vigilante isn't.) Kaya simply shrugged. “I wouldn’t know the first thing about Batman and his views on hero morality.” She said casually, as if this was a serious topic of conversation now. Although Bryant’s words made her shiver slightly. Sure he really was just talking about self defence but the way he spoke so casually and calmly about killing someone… He said he wouldn’t like it, but his tone spoke a lot louder than his words did and she let her arms drop finally, putting a very slight amount of distance between them. “Well… if they don’t see you as a hero… what else could you be than a villain?” She asked. However Kaya quickly changed her mind and shook her head. “You know what? Don’t answer that. I don’t wanna talk about it anymore.” She nibbled at her lip for a moment before thinking of something else to talk about, anything really. “Oh hey, my chemistry partner doesn’t seem like a total dick this year.” She offered. “He’s new, so I’m assuming he didn’t ask me to be his partner because he knew I was good at the subject.” It may not seem like a lot, but for Kaya it was a really nice change of pace. Despite everything she really didn’t have any friends besides Bryant. It was upsetting sometimes. No one liked to think they were unliked.
