Mussolini died the death we call "Two few competent players in Europe." Googer has sort of headed that show, since Hugs refuses to post, and he only has so much time. Why exactly we never had a nationalist re-surge like we did in real life is sort of left in the dust. I think the unspoken assumption for why a lot of these colonies are unaccounted for is because, after the economic collapse that came with the last portion of the Great War, the European powers simply couldn't afford to pay attention to their possessions. Of course, this doesn't exactly explain how Belgium, the country stuck square in the middle of the western front, managed not only to hold onto the Congo but somehow expanded their African borders after the war and ruled most of central Africa until 1970 (remember, the only posessions I ever took in the RP is the Belgian Congo, Egyptian Sudan, and Hejaz. The majority of the Ethiopian Empire is just old Belgian possessions). So yeh. I dunno. Precipice might have some of the best examples of writing in the weird world of internet roleplaying, but it doesn't have much in the way of cannon consistency.
