“It’s not that I didn’t get along with the other ones…” Kaya said, which was more than a slight exaggeration of the truth. “It’s just they only wanted to be my partner because I was good at the subject and then they’d just let me do all the work. So it’s nice to know there’s someone who actually expects to do work this time.” Not that she minded doing most of the work, at least she knew she’d get a good grade that way but people’s laziness annoyed her. She said she got along with the others, but Bryant had probably sat though enough rants about each and every one of them to know what was a lie. When they arrived at the burger place Kaya quickly picked out a booth and sat down, letting her bag fall gladly. “Be glad most of your subjects are more practically based.” She complained as she glared at the heavy bag, already stuffed with textbooks, homework and planned assignments. “Have we ever been here before?” She asked eventually, looking around but if she had been here then she had no memory of it, nothing was leaping out at her to say the least.
