Deravan nods at the idea that Robert had about the forest, before fallowing him silently, before one woman then asked Robert how he overcame the human invader when so many died to a single human. To this, Deravan breath deeply and moves forwards. "I think it is that we decided to take the path less traveled by... at least for us creatures." he then says calmly, breathing deeply. He looks at the house. It was still standing, and was close to entrance, but now the though started to come in his mind. These villagers could not defend against 1 human, when the group was able to take him down... Why didn't anyone try to fight like they did... learn magic, or learn the ways of the shadows or anything like that. Then he though about it... tradition... tradition of living like they always lived. Deravan knew he broke tradition by the way he fought, though would it make it that people actually look at them angry for not going and live like creatures should live? He just didn't know.
