Ukatan City Assassin
Charlotte had declined an offer to tour the University with her Master as she felt that it was far too early for the two of them to be seen together. Before that was to happen she needed to establish herself as an individual in her own right, which meant creating the identity to which she would identify herself to the rest of the world. Once created her new identity would make it easier to seamlessly integrate into her Masters routine without seeming out of place or overly suspicious. Of course she lacked both the resources and time needed to create the paperwork to support such an identity at present so for the moment she would have to rely on illusion. Those who pried too deeply would no doubt find the truth. They would also find a knife in their abdomen for their troubles. She hummed thoughtfully to herself as she perched effortlessly atop a telephone pole, invisible to the human eye in her incorporeal state, following her Master at a safe distance to avoid detection by any prying ‘gifted’ eyes. As for how she would establish herself as a human rather than a Servant she had a few ideas, most of them requiring some degree of surprise on the part of her Master. Which is why she had neglected to inform him that she would be accompanying him to the University, in a suitably indirect manner of course. She needed the surprise to be as genuine as possible for the best possible results. As her Master headed to the University she kept pace with a series of well-timed dashes of movement, the speed of which would make her indistinct even to those with the ‘gift’ needed to see her. However she did not follow her Master all the way to the University, trailing away once she was certain of its location. Timing was important. Instead she veered into a nearby park, still in her incorporeal state. Had she been a different Class she would have been more concerned with hiding her presence, however like all Assassin she possessed Presence Concealment. Provided that she did not act in any overtly aggressive manner there was no normal way for Servants or Masters other than her own to detect her nature as a Servant. Still, that was no reason to not exercise some degree of caution. Charlotte manifested into her corporeal form and casually stepped out onto the footpath and into a passing crowd of students on their way to a day of classes. She did not follow them toward the university and instead headed back toward the centre of the city. It was her intention to go shopping, however her Master had yet to gift her with any money. No doubt he would have done so had she asked however that might have interfered with her plan. The less her Master knew the better. It was quite literally for his own good. With that in mind she had considered ‘acquiring’ the funds from the students, however to the best of her knowledge the majority could ill afford the loss and so she had left them be. Her desired destination would no doubt provide in that regard.
