The world has been inhabited by the great powers. Each scene will be a battle, from the perspective of a commander. Certain stats and modifiers will be used to determine victory, but it is a fairly simple system. Below is a list of playable nations an their faction. X vs O. we begin in the middle of the First Extraterrestrial War. X represents the Democratic Defensive and Strategic Colonial Alliance (DDSCA/DA)), while O stands for Security and Administrative Alliance of the Colonies (SAAC). Obviously, not all of these will be filled. The RP takes place in 2100. United States of America (X) People's Republic of China (O) Brazilian Republic (X) Caribbean Union (O) Republic of Mexico (O) Dominion of Canada (X) Greater Korean Democratic Union (X) Russian Federation (O) European Union (X) United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (X) State of Libya (X) Republic of India (X) Federal Republic of Nigeria (X) Republic of South Africa and Mozambique (X) Republic of Angola (O) Islamic Republic of Iran (O) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (O) State of Israel (X) United Arab Emirates (O) Republic of Iraq (O) Japanese Parliamentary Republic (X) Republic of Turkey (O) Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand (X) Islamic Republic of Pakistan (O) Egyptian Federation (O) Kingdom of Jordan (O) 26 total nations. Feel free to make up some territories on earth, i.e. Russian Federation now controls all former Soviet Territories, Israel conquered Palestine and Syria, etc. Just don't touch the home nations of any of the listed countries/unions. If you have a question about what some of the fabricated ones controls, just post. Posting requirement is high casual-advanced. Maps: Colonial: Earth: I choose the earth map so you could easily use a fill tool on the territories, but please use any kind of low-opacity brush for the colonial as so we can see the physical, and please label Seas/Ocean regions(zones) (anything confined by teal lines and beaches), Subcontinents (Anyting between beaches and Big/Thick Black Lines), and regions/areas (Anything between small black lines, big black lines, or beaches.) Nation sheets: Please research to fill most of these. You will obviously have to fill some in between 2015 and 2100. If you need help with finding the territory of your nation, let me know! I will also tell you where your capital is, so you can do that specific national history until the made-up nation is formed. Government types re included. Feel free to ask a question, and I will direct you to the model government for that particular nation as found in a modern nation. I am requiring that you fill in modern history because not all of know every detail of how and why they were founded, the turmoil they went through, etc. All of the nations are split into 3 categories of history, which are explained in that section. Name: (Pick from list) Flag: (You can design something a little different, especially if I changed something.) Maps: (Colonial and earth, see map directions.) Space Stations:(Make a map for each one you have. You most likely will have at least one, but definitely no more than 5. Get creative with size and shape, but remember you are a major world power.) Government: (See directions. Mention leader(s).) Technology: Mechas, spaceships, space stations, and a single found warp 70 AU past Pluto. Describe your role in the Second Great Colonial Race. History: (Italicize any names, it helps to have a directory of important people.) This is essentially split up into 3 parts: •Old age--date and circumstance/story of your nation's founding, most likely before 2015 unless you are a new nation. Talk a bit about some ancient history, but no need for dissertation on the movement over the Bering Land Bridge if you are doing USA. Keep it relevant to your current governmental founding, unless it is more like Britain where you were around very long but gradually moved rather than violently uprose. If you have questions, again, ask me. •Middle age--describe movements, developments and revolutions was well as wars. This is the time that a few of these nations become superpowers, bit of course, not everybody is a star. This should go until around 2020 and begin whenever that first period of turmoil ends and nation faces a test that proves it's significance. Please remember to describe your nation's role in major conflicts such as the world wars. •New Age--after your nation has settled into it's shoes as superpower..what happened? This is the most creative, and should lead you up to 2100. I will make a list of conflicts and dates I want your sheet to mention for involvement, but that might be awhile. Obviously, skip it if it is totally irrelevant or before your time, but at least glance over to it if possible. Some will be made up after 2015. Anything before 1900 is up to you to include. Obviously, if I miss something or maybe do not add it because I think it is fairly small, do not mention it. NO ALTERNATE HISTORY. DO NOT MAKE ME FACTCHECK! Military: Just talk about the units, size, tech, and whatever else you feel is important. This is already mostly covered in tech and history, but give us some numbers and nothing totally OP. Culture: This is the big one we probably don't know enough about. Weave this in a bit with history, and get creative with movements and developments. Also talk about what is likely to occur going forward. I am requiring that you talk about your nation's part in all of these wars/events, or a least what they were doing, regardless of positions. If you weren't around for one of them, talk about what as going on in your current national capital. You must also talk about major conflicts/movements relevant to you, even if they did not directly affect other nations (i.e. Civil War). I am putting the list here for milestones and general things I want you to include. Wars/Events I am requiring you take talk about: Nation Founding (If relevant, may not have been war.) Enlightenment Extreme nationalism World War 1 World War 2 Cold War and ensuing proxy wars (Korea, Vietnam, Cuba...) Fall of the Soviet Union 9/11 and ensuing conflicts
Pacific War (2020) After the assassination of Kim Jung Un, China tried to turn North Korea into a puppet state, while South Korea (Now Greater Korean Democratic Union) sought it's rightful land. Directly Affected Nations: United States of America-Supports South Korea in taking North Korea, and seeks to rid the world of the last bastion of communism. Greater Korean Democratic Union-Wants North Korea and sees itself as the only legitimate ruler. Japanese Parliamentary Republic-Supports South Korea and seeks to secure itself as the true asian world power, constitution is amended so they can take part in the conflict. People's Republic of China-Wants to set up a puppet state to regain control over SE asia. Former Socialist Republic of Vietnam-Supports China in defending Communism The SE Asia Support Alliance (SEASA, later joined by Australia and New Zealand Commonwealth) is formed between the winning nations (USA, GKDU, JPR). North Vietnam is annexed by GKDU, Japan takes South Vietnam. China sets off relatively easy, and only must stay out of Oceanic affairs and agree to dissolve the 6 trillion debt to the USA, which they most likely were not going to get anyways.
