I feel so dirty writing this, you know. One eye is a normal-light blue shade, while the other is Golden.
Gift: Imaginary Friend.
Sugar was always the type that had an imagination. She created plenty of Imaginary Friends in her lifetime, dashing them all away as she got older. Little did she know, her Gift created another friend. Something is following Sugar. The manifestation of her Gift has created a psychic entity that follows Sugar around. She affectionately named it "Sir Reginald". This Entity follows all of Sugar's commands telepathically. It is invisible to all humans - Except for other Gifted. They see a transparent, featureless, human male of a more muscular build, standing at least ten feet tall. He floats around Sugar, and he has the ability to travel long distances away from her. Sir Reginald is intangible - however, the correct term would be "Psycho-Tangible". While he can phase through walls and other solid objects, Sir-Reginald can selectively interacting with the world, using a form of telekinesis. So, if Sugar asks him to grab a phone from halfway across the room, he can float over there and grab it. If Sugar wants Sir Reginald to unlock a door, he can float to the other side of the room and flip the lock. Simple as that! However, if Sir-Reginald interacts with a human being, he will become visible (Visible as his above description would entail). Sir Reginald is fairly strong too. He can lift up a piano, and knock someone on their ass with a punch. Finally, Sir Reginald communicates with Sugar using a telepathic link, whatever Sugar thinks, Sir Reginald can hear it. Which makes relaying orders surprisingly simple. Sir Reginald can also exert his mental will onto other people, reading their thoughts, and relaying Sugar's thoughts to them.
Bio:
Sugar was the first child to be born into the Balore family after O'Connor, father of the Balore family remarried (After the tragic death of his first wife). Sugar was the first bundle of joy to come from his new wife, Cassidy. She was born after the family had moved from New York to Boston. That said, Sugar had a pretty good childhood, she was young, she played around with friends, and lived life the best way she could. Since she was young, fairy tales and fantasy stories deeply fascinated her. With her parents supporting this, and it eventually escalated to a worrying level. She was seemingly obsessed with fairy tales, which leaked into everything that she was involved with. Her schoolwork, her home life, and play life. Her parents simply figured that she'd grow out of it and left her to her own devices. When Sugar was five, she was given a young brother, O'Brien. She was initially jealous of the child for taking attention away from her, but she quickly warmed up the boy. However, the person she wanted to connect to the most was her older (half-)sister Shannon. Who seemed to be aloof, indifferent to her very existence. Sugar tried her very best to connect to her sister, not succeeding for ages, until Shannon was forced to pay attention to her. After that, Shannon and Sugar became closer, much like sisters should be. Shannon made fancy clothes for Sugar, and Sugar returned the favor in affection. Other than that, there was a slow natural progression of events. Sugar went to school, her obsession with fairy tales never faded. By the time she was seven), she was at the height of her life. Everything just seemed so perfect. Her younger brother was now two, and already walking and talking (Fragments). However, a few months before her eighth birthday, she learned that she will be getting another brother, Sean. Sugar was ecstatic that she was going to get a baby brother! Since she loved kids. However, her life took a drastic change after one car ride to the Toys "R" Us with her father one night. At an intersection, a drunk man had run a red light just as Sugar's car was crossing it. The drunk man crashed into the side of the car and sent it sprawling across the intersection into another truck. Sugar got her leg crushed between the door and another car. Her father was knocked out hard enough that he fell unconscious, probably with permanent damage. So Sugar was left alone in a mangled car to bleed to death as she screamed for help. Eventually, she too fell unconscious from severe blood loss and shock. Fortunately, Sugar was rescued by fast acting EMTs, and she was rushed to the hospital. Sugar woke up in the hospital the next morning, surrounded by her family. Thankfully Shannon and her mother had given her an emergency blood donation. The young girl would be in a stable condition, but she couldn't feel her leg... She looked down and learned that, in her unconscious state, her leg was amputated because it was too damaged to possibly repair. This made the young girl hysterical. What didn't help was the fact that her father was sent into a coma from severe injuries and they wouldn't know when he'd wake up. She was given a prosthetic leg and put into physical therapy soon as possible. Months later, Sugar was released from the hospital, feeling like she survived the unsurvivalable. The next few years were hard as hell. With Sugar's father in a coma, the family were put on hard times. Their depressed mother had to pick up another job just to help pay off their father's medical bills. Shannon had to get herself a job just to pick up the slack. Leaving Sugar all alone with whatever cheap babysitter they could hire. At this point, Sugar felt fairly lonely. She put her emotions into drawing, and writing - and coming up with some good results. Some of those skills stick with her to this day. Sugar's school life was fairly lonely. She was bullied for having a prosthetic leg. She had little friends, really. She avoided them, and kept her chin up. She knew that once her father got out of the hospital, things would be all better. The next few years went by uneventfully. By the time Sugar was eighteen, Shannon had moved out into her own house, and her father didn't wake up. Sugar had long given up hope on that, and choose to move on. Maybe she'd become a scientist? Help find a way to wake him up. However, her goals were ruined once she had received her gift. An imaginary Entity followed her around... which scared the piss out of her. She tried to tell her mother, but she knew that she was one of the gifted just by the color of her eyes. Her mother, very tearfully, told Sugar to leave, as the family had enough problems. Having a Gifted living with her would cause her another. So, Sugar was given plenty of money, sunglasses, a change of clothes or two, and was bid farewell. Sugar hated what happened - but she knew that she was now special. She was going to survive the best she can. She promised her mother that. It stems from her over-imaginative nature. She would go crazy if she went too long without drawing!
