Adelisa snapped back at the comment. She wasn't expecting such a question. It was odd, but she answered it. "Well, a deep cut like that cannot just be healed alone. It has to be transferred, so I took the scar onto myself." She shrugged as if it really wasn't that big a deal. It wasn't to her. She's had more scars on her body than she could count at this point. Her mind went to the couple, the mates, that she saw. It was going to be so hard to explain to her mate, if he didn't instantly find her disgusting, about her past. The difficulty to even trust a man would set her mate running. She came back to reality and looked at Morven. "Their love, Maria's and her mate's, it's quite beautiful. They balance eachother quite well. Her peaceful innocence and his reckless violence pair together almost harmoniously." She wasn't being sarcastic or immature, but just trying to put things into prospective. ~~~ Theo drank the blood with vigor, feeling his life come back to him. A slight smirk came to his lips as he chugged. Nothing could kill him. Not some whore slave, not some unruly family. Nothing could stop him. He was Theo after all. He looked at Jareth and said hoarsily "thank you, my companion. I am forever greatful." He gave him and tender pat on the shoulder before trying, somewhat failing, to sit up.
