While 2 others talked, Victor stared at the statue. It was likely that the others who were also staring at it had similar thoughts to each other, though their thoughts probably weren't the same as his own. I wonder how much this is worth. It was quite brilliant statue, actually. It was glowing and it was well made. It was probably magical, but there was no way he was taking it out of the cave by himself. With that said, he couldn't help but think about what he would get if he sold it, which was strange to a newly reformed body. It was weird how the statue was surrounded by corpses, but it was weirder how he wanted to get a lot of gold. He wasn't sure why, but he really felt like he wanted a lot of money, like he couldn't live without it. The lust for gold nagged at his mind, and he couldn't hold explain it. It didn't feel like him to coop up his feelings, so he tried saying something. His jaw fell open clumsily and a squeeky weeze emerged, somewhat reminiscent of human speech but intelligible. Something was stuck in his throat. He put his hand into his mouth and tried to clear his airway. When he pulled his hand out, it was covered in cobwebs. Ew. Victor thought, coughing to clear out the remaining cobwebs. "Ugh..." A voice said. It was Victor's voice. His body's voice. It reminded him of a bad flute player's music. Probably what he should expect from a skeleton, really. But there was only one reason he tried to speak, one reason alone. "Hey, anyone got some gold on them?" He said, adjusting his jawbone to speak better.
