Name was waiting in the lobby area writing unenthusiasticly in his notes. What Nate had said over the phone had deeply troubled him and over worked his imagination. He knew government and public opinion was low of the supernatural with groups like the Inquisition and Nightshade Security but this deeply troubled the old doctor. It was always Stanley's belief that as scientist we must always be humane about research and discovery that the line into savagery must never be crossed. It was for these same reasons he never drank blood or tested his cures on anyone but himself. Why should anyone else suffer because of his affliction? He knew Nate for a long time. Grew up with him and made it through medical school with him. When Name was bitten he lost everything his family, his clinic, his life. The only one from the old days who knew were Name was is Nate who helped sneak him equipment to start a rudimentary lab in his room. He took a drink from his coffee and watched the door. Minutes later Nate walked in with the child bundled in his arms. Name stood up and walked over to his old friend. When he say the state Autumn was in and her clutching the rabbit in her sleep it broke his heart. "How is she?" Name asked sadly.
