Winston had left the others to their own devices. He needed to buy his supplies. He walked to a rather seedy looking part of the town. Men in clothes covered with dirt hid in the alleys. All of their eyes on Winston, waiting for any point when Winston would be even slightly distracted. Winston walked through in a quick pace until he reached a small set of stairs into a basement. He slowly paced down the stairs. At the bottom were a small reinforced door and a tiny bell. Winston rang the bell six times in a fashion that resembled an old song. After 10 seconds, a small wooden slider on the door opened. An aged, nearly colourless eye looked through. The slide was shut and the door opened. The old man walked behind the counter, every step sending a resounding shuffle through the room. Winston entered the store. It smelled of ash, herbs and wood. "What fancies ye?" The old man said, his voice tired and rough. "I would like to buy about 10 dried Arima flower petals, a small jar of Trima oil, a small jar of coal powder and 20 Greygrass stalks." Winston replied. "Thos will be a bit costly." The old man wearily spoke. "I know. I have enough for it." Winston said, placing a bag of coins on the table. The old man took the bag and dumped the coins onto the table. After a moment of staring at the coins, the old man scooped the coins up and went into a backroom. He came out with a small cloth bag containing the goods that Winston had bought. "Thank you." Winston said, picking up the bag. He quickly walked out of the store. The door closed with a loud clang. He walked through the slums. The men of the alleys seemed to want to attack him even more now that he had stuff, but Winston's height intimidated them. He left the slums, and sighed. He had nothing else to do with his time. He decided to walk to a small coffee shop. He had entered the store with a strange name. Le... something or other. Winston stopped after seeing the name. He clenched his fist, and walked into the store, trying to put thoughts out of his mind. Upon entering, he saw a few familiar faces. "Ay, Levi!", he said, enthusiastically sticking his hands up. He then realized that he still needed his coffee. He walked through the store to the counter with his hands still up. "Uh. Can I get a regular black coffee?" Winston said, his speech rather monotone. "$3 Please..." The woman said, a bit offset by Winston's appearance. Winston lowered both of his hands and put one into his pocket to pull out a few coins. He put them on the table and the woman took them. He then walked to the table Levi was sitting at, and took a seat there.
