Dresden walked forward a little and said to the servant "I am going first this time." Then he waved to Molly saying "See you on the flip side." Then he walked through the door to the pond. He took off his robe and set it to the side. He knew he couldnt choose the same path as he did earlier. So he looked at the other 9 paths and chose the first path. He felt it only made sense to chose the oppositte side of the one he chose earlier. He waded out into the water until he was able to float. The water for this path was really hot but Dresden ignored the heat and floated down the path. He thought of all the deities he knew about and ones he had heard the name of at one time or another. He knew which one he would chose and the one that would chose him. The image of the deity became plain and clear in his mind. Zues the god of order, law, and justice it waz obvious that it woukd be Zues to Dresden because he was a private detective who fought to protect the law, the justice, and the order of the world. Dresden bumped his head against tbe edge and got out of the pond. When he got to the robes be saw the black robe he had taken off was there again. He grabbed it and walked into the room with the personal diaries in it. He sat down and wrote down his personal deity in it.
