While she is friendly enough, she has a low tolerance for excessive and uncalled for childishness.  At just twenty, she likes to think of herself as this mature older woman, which often makes her come across as aloof or snooty. But, in reality, it is a coping mechanism for when she is scared or unsure of what to do next.
