So I'm assuming we won't be able to tote around cannons on our arm? Either way, I'm pretty interested. I've seen this idea before but have never gotten around to or been able to hop on for the ride. When you say world of fantasy, is it limited to goblins and fairies, or can there be more interesting cryptids running about the lands? Also, how limited will be firearms in this? Muskets and blunderbuss started to gain traction during the 1600s, so can we expect to use some? [s]...seriously though, arm cannons? ...please?[/s]
Bloodborne is sweeeeet! [@SirBeowulf] As for the questions concerning the world. When imagining any element of this world, you must simply take one thing into account: there is no heavy evidence that any of these fantastical things ever existed. Each magical element, by necessity, is hidden from the normal world. This doesn't mean the worlds do not intertwine, however. There may be faries, and they may use invisibility spells in order to roam through markets--or perhaps they transform. Goblins may be smaller than in ordinary fantasy settings, having underground fights with Gnomes. I expect the fiction of this to unravel as we go, but that's the overall vibe I'm going for. If that's not clear, please feel free to ask questions. As for firearms, expect to see blunderbuss' and muskets, early carbines, and perhaps early mechanized pistols. A hand cannon could, potentially, be arranged. I'm glad we were able to catch your attention this time!
