She is a little shy and indecisive, but when she finds something to do, she is hellbent to work as hard as possible to get it done. What she lacks in sense of humor and relaxing properly she makes up with her prudent and intelligent nature. She has somewhat low self-esteem and will often succumb to self-doubt, whether in terms of ability, character, or appearance. History: Dis was born and raised in Minegarde town, as the daughter of a Balin Battle-Bread, a baker, and a leather tanner, her mother. However, when she grew older, she fell in love with a dwarf man who proposed to her and quickly after, proposed to marry her. However, this marriage was sour and loveless, and lead to a rather fast divorce, with no children. Far from her homestead, with no work, Dis faced a horribly difficult situation: she had to resort to prostitution and sin to survive. On one occasion, she slept with a drunken dwarf, who unintentionally made her pregnant. Days went by, and she would see him once more. Initially urged to walk away, the dwarf, named Thorin Blueblade, insisted in speaking to her. She initially refused any word with him, since she held a grudge on him for likely ruining her life for good. Even though Thorin wanted to help her by offering her to move into his house, which she found to be highly insulting. The conversation became a loud argument where both parted ways. Later, in the night on that same day, Dis was pursued by a gang of Gigyas members. Leaving an inn, Thorin noticed the chase and ran to her aid, killing each of the five attackers(all were small theropods), but not without consequences: he received multiple injuries. Dis healed him and thanked him for saving her life. Since the money she made with prostitution was not enough for her to pay her bills in an insula room, she was thrown out. Thorin urged her to a very difficult action: speaking with her bitter family about living with Thorin permanently. Eventually, Balin summoned up the power to forgive Dis for what she had done, thinking she had redeemed herself by meeting the man. What initially began as a life-saving circumstance blossomed into love, and now Thorin and Dis have two sons, Fili and Kili. Misc: Dis works at the tanning rack at Thorin's house, creating leather canvases and strips for making armor and some weapons, as well as bow strings.
