He never knew his parents but that did not bother him. He was tutored at an early age by the monks in philosophy, scripture and traditions. One could say he had an ordinary childhood for a monk if he hadn't been blind. Hibiki was born without the ability to see. At the age of eight Hibiki was sent to life with an old hermit, as part of an templetraditon. There it was he learned the art of music. But more importantly, he learned the art of listening. He practiced all day for the nine years he choose to life with the old hermit, absorbing all the knowledge he could. After the hermit died, Hibiki began wandering the land, collecting it songs and playing for those who want to listen. [b]Other: [/b] Hibiki is completely blind.
