Well, after reading your CS's, it seems like the arrival of Hastuk is important to the OAKs, or specifically, to Edward. Not sure what you have planned for the two, but maybe the Grand Master is calling the Knights back home for the same reason why Hastuk came to the Capitol? :p That way it gives us a chance to interact with each other as we make our way back to Silvercliff.
