Balon sighed in comfort. A hot water spring, who would've thought! Setting foot on land after weeks on the ship was such a relief... Maybe now, they would finally be able to find peace. Being a handy man, and somewhat of a "do-what-I-feel-like"-guy, he had decided to build his home among the trees. A treehouse near the northern clearing, near the beautiful flowers and the meadow. It had taken longer and he had to pay (or bribe) some of the passagers to help him build it, and sure it wasn't very big but it was comfortably living up in the trees with such a beautiful view. Resting his arms and head on the edge of the hot water spring, he sighed once more. "Isn't this just the best thing?" he said to Blythe. "Free of responsibility of the homeland, no longer the feeling of being constantly hunted... No longer fearing for our lives!" he smiled and closed his eyes. "This is paradise." Little did he know, however, that the merfolk were aware of their pressence on the island... And probably watching them this very moment. "Hey, why'd you try to jump off that darn cliff anyway?" he said, exhaling the smoke of his cigarette like always.
