Jäger made doubly sure that the bow case was securely sealed before gathering up her other possesses. These included a travel bag containing among other things a first aid kit and a hunting knife. The first aid kit she knew how to use well enough, the knife was a memento of her fathers. Besides her bag she also had a suitcase, containing mainly clothes, hair products and a replacement set of headphones. With her possessions gathered she awkwardly made her way to the front of the bus, bag on her shoulder, suitcase in hand and her bow case held tightly under her other arm. As she passed the driver she thanked him and offered the man a warm smile to reassure him that nothing he had said would find its way back to him. With a hop she landed gracefully onto the floor and looked around. The smell was bad but didn't bother her all that much. The area had an aura that put her ill at ease, a mixture of poverty, deprivation and tension. It made the area feel imposing and unwelcoming. The fact that she had already drawn the attention of more than a few individuals did little to alleviate matters. This was how prey must have felt, being salivated over by starving hounds. However Jäger was no frightened little rabbit. Ignoring the onlookers she stepped away from the bus and looked around to get her bearings, though the directions that they had been given were poor at best. She turned toward Eika. “I don’t know how you can be so enthusiastic about any of this,” she said, motioning to the immediate area. “This is not the kind of place that I want to stay the night in, or day for that matter. I can feel myself getting dirty just standing here.” She turned toward Aaron who was last to get off of the bus. “So, where do we need to go from here?”
