Went on a run this morning.
Called the hospital for my blood work results, because they said i should have the answer 2 weeks ago. Person who knows isn't in, so left a message.
now i get to wait by the phone all day. -_-

Meh. Bit pissy over the shelf life of anything I buy from the commissary. if you don't eat it the same day, it molds, which is horrid for weekly planned dinners. *grumble*
Now I have to do extra work because half my ingredients went bad.

Other than that, I'm fine.

I cannot say I am familiar to that problem, but then again I am largely an obligate carnivore, with most meats I purchase tending not to spoil too fast. That or they're devoured utterly in a timely manner, but for any sort of planned meal with actual ingredients? That poses a notable problem.

Even the meat...
They freeze it and ship it, so technically we're not supposed to freeze it again, but i usually do, because otherwise it defrosts and spoils within days.

I can't wait to be back home in the US, man @_@

Really now? That seems so strange to think that even the meat spoils so hastily. Then again, if it is making that sort of journey, I doubt it ends up being so fresh in the long run - a pity, really.

My day, or evening really I suppose, has been quite relaxing. Continued updates on artwork as well as news of the mixed sort that I needed answers to anyway. All in all, surprisingly accomplished, particularly in the more physically demanding realm.

Tried to draw a few times and failed. Just not in the mood for it, I suppose.
Did my run. Caught up on my shows.
All in all a pretty decent day.

I'm now watching CSI and will go read in a bit.

I was never able to hold any success in artwork myself - the best form of art I learned for myself being my voice work and my writing, neither of which have been anything near a career. To my fortune there are those far more talented than I at the actual arts who I've come to accompany.

Any particular or interesting reading material?

Reading up on my Drows. Is pretty damn good.

I've made money here and there with artwork. Not a lot.
Priciest piece so far, the woman commissioned then decided she didn't want it. so i'm stuck with a painted canvas and no money.
