[@KaBling] I've finished another app, mind accepting or denying it? Name: Nina Species: Nidoran Gender: Female Moves: - Poison Sting 1 {----------} - Double Kick 1 {----------} - Scratch 1 {----------} - Flash Tackle (Power: 45, Type: Light/Physical, Effect: Has a chance to make the target pokemon flinch. Bio: Nina was the daughter of Alex, the nidoqueen, and Joseph the nidoking, and, for a while, the two stayed together, and raised their daughter together. It was during this time when Nina was given a strange necklace with a very bright tear-shaped crystal in it. Said crystal resembled a diamond, save for the fact that it seemed to give off light whenever it was dark. This, however, wasn't going to last, as Alex was chosen to guard the light orb, some sort of artifact that could end all life as we know it if it was put into the wrong hands. She took that job so seriously, that she tried to force the others into moving closer to the orb. This caused some tension with Joseph, who liked the house he lived in for the past ten years, but not so much with Nina, who always wanted to see more of the world than just her front door and porch. Tension only rose as the two continued to argue about where they should live, and eventually, it led to them splitting up. Alex apparently ended up 'getting' Nina on the weekends, while Joseph ended up with her on the weekdays, which kinda annoyed Nina, mainly due to the fact that, at least according to her, weekends were supposed to be fun, and, unfortunately, Alex's place wasn't. At all. Yes, as it turns out, Alex's job was guarding an orb that was located in the middle of a stinky, nasty, wet swamp, and she lived right under the thing, too. The cave that she lived in was barely large enough for just Alex alone, let alone Alex and Nina. From that point onwards, Nina vowed to get away from this place, even if Alex was always very nice to Nina. The place only continued to get on her nerves more, as, whatever things actually worked down there pretty much broke weekly, and almost always, the lift was broken on Saturday, only for it to be fixed on Sunday... which meant that Nina would almost always have to sleep outside on Saturday, outside in the stinky swamp. There also wasn't enough food for two pokemon in Alex's place, as apparently, being a guardian of some orb didn't pay all that much, despite it being such an important job. All of this only made Nina's desire to leave grow over the years, and it seemed like there was no escape from this, no, she couldn't just walk away, the other pokemon of the swamp would notice her, and bring her back to Alex's house, if you can call it a house, and every time she tried to teleport via some badge an explorer by the name of 'Desia' dropped near Joseph's house, it wouldn't let her, with the badge saying something about 'emergency' mode, and not knowing where to teleport her, or something stupid. That didn't stop her from keeping the badge, and trying every Saturday when the lift broke down, though. Eventually, a group of pokemon came to steal something from Alex, and from what Nina heard, it might have been the orb. At this point, she didn't care, she just wanted to leave this place, so, the first chance she got, she tried to go with them to whatever amazing place they went that wasn't here. She leaped at them, shouting "WAIT FOR ME!" as the group, which consisted of a grey snivy, a magnemite with three magnets, a pale-looking sylveon, a dark blue gyrados, and a jolteon, teleported away. She was just a bit too late, and didn't get teleported, however. Lying on the ground, crying at her failed attempt, Nina was defeated. This was her last chance, her final attempt before just giving up and staying with her mom instead of going off and exploring, however, Alex emerged from her cave of a home, and walked up to Nina. "Did you want to leave this place?" Alex asked Nina, who nodded, not wanting to lie anymore. "You want to join an exploration team, don't you?" Alex asked Nina again, who hadn't really thought about joining anything like that prior to this. Exploration sounded fun, though, always having a change of scenery, never really staying in one place, so, she nodded to that, as well. "I'll take you to a guild," Alex then assured Nina, who dried her tears, and asked "R-really?" Alex nodded, and the two set off to find a guild. Thanks to Alex's status around the swamp, no pokemon dared to attack her, or Nina, for that matter, and it didn't take too long before they came across what looked to Nina like a sprawling metropolis with far too many pokemon in it. Nina was amazed, but Alex, having been here before, wasn't as surprised by it. The two quickly found the Allure Town guild, evidently run by an audino, but that was where Alex left Nina, who had to take her first steps into the guild on her own. Appearance: She looks fairly normal, aside from her necklace. Differences: Nina has the 'Light' sub-type, and has a move relating to said type. She may learn more as she grows stronger.
