This is the planet Nova Mondial, so hence we are in the Nova system, with all the implications that carries. So one moon and one star, and six planets, one of those being a gas giant. The OP establishes that the star is yellow (technically white, but we perceive if as yellow) just like ours, and so of course eclipses can happen. I will leave the color and content of the sky to someone else's suggestion.
