If the worst comes to the worst and we don't find any more supplicants to the Dark Powers you could always write in an NPC to accompany you.

I'm planning on having Crixus dragging around his pet, a broken, half-naked harlequin, who'll he'll be able to torment whenever we're waiting for fresh posts (she's one of the 'trophies' listed on his CS.)
