A Fight for Supremacy: Competitive High There have always been those people who, while in classes or even out of school, always seem like they are trying way too hard to be perfect at everything they do. They've always have to be the one to get a one hundred on everything or to be head of the chess club or ever score the most touchdowns in American football. They always raise their hands when the teacher ask for the question and almost always throw a fit when they don't get a grade higher than a ninety-five on a report card. But, what happens when you throw all of those people into a high school where their work is not only rewarded but also encouraged? Well, Taigon High School is created when that happens. Established only a year ago, in 2018, Taigon High School is the most prestigious High School in all of Japan. Unlike other schools, Taigon doesn't just encourage their students to achieve within their sports and academics in competition against other school but also against each other! The result of this sort of competition you ask? The answer is, of course, that students have created their own Teams which fight for the estemed position of first on the scholastic and athletic school board. Those who are not in a Team are outcasts and are often pressured into joining any Team so that they may fit in. While Taigon High School may seem like a normal school on the outside, the school hides a dark secret which few students have come to realize as of yet. By Day, it is an Academic and Athletic haven while, by Night, it becomes a vibrant haven for those who call themselves witches and wizards. Nearly a hundred or so students meet after hours on a literal battlefield where they pit familiars versus familiars in a battle for a ranking in what has become known as the Night School. Teachers move from their day subjects to a vertiable cacophany of magicalsubjects ranging from simple casting to complex golemancy. Do you have what it takes to be a student by day and magician by night? Or are you going to flunk out like so many others?
So, for those of you who have visited I proffer a welcome to you. This roleplay is a sort of first for me as I set this up so stay with me here as I try to explain. Taigon High School is home to nearly a thousand and five hundred students who are the competitive types that everybody has in their class room. While your character doesn't have to be super competitive, it is preferred they are skilled in some kind of sport of club activity of the sort. At Taigon, there are sixteen teams and each one is headed by a Captain of a sorts. With an arrival of new Freshman(you) a former captain who had been voted off for poor grades(Bs) has decided to make a seventeenth Team. But, we aren't going to delve into the specifics of how this is going to start out until I am sure we can get this off the ground. So, do tell me if any of y'all reading this are interested and after about four people I will get to work on an OOC. I will be placing a soft cap on characters at 10 with a hard cap at 15. You can create two characters but no more than that. Anyways, enough of my rabbling on.
