Don't forget that having an attitude that shuts down the ability to have sort of discourse or complaint is not only stupidly despotic for a game but is just straight up toxic for the miniature community you're trying to foster to keep the game going
Tell me about it *Puts down tankard of beer* Was in a good RP. Someone started flinging insults at my character, called her a Mary Sue, even though she was accepted heartily by the GM. I defended myself rationally, calmly, citing the definitions of Mary Sue and everything. The person who insulted me eventually said that she's bored and didn't want to talk about what she started. But she maintained her stance that I'm using a god damn Mary Sue. I defended myself some more the same way. I bring up all the points of the Mary Sue and discounted each of them in my character's context. The GM and a third of the community said that I was being aggressive and negative. The rest are either too afraid of being persecuted or are not present. The GM decides that I should leave. Citing that third of the community, that I'm being aggressive and negative, and something that happened 2 years ago. *Drinks heavily from tankard of beer* [Link removed. I still feel wrong to repay punches with punches] EDIT: Oh God, the more I looked at it, the more upset I've become. I'm very grounded in real life, and yet I can't help but to really feel it. At least with real life, I have been able to settle alot of conflicts that matters more easily enough. But somehow it can't be done in an RP, and I was giving it far more effort than I would need to in those real life conflicts. *Drinks even more*
