The crowd was so much bigger. Alice stood in the middle of the arena with so many people looking at her, she could feel her knees wobbling beneath her. The last competition was hard enough but now there were more opponents and more pressure. There was no way Alice would be able to win this one, she felt it already. IT had been a hard decision, whether or not to fight in the tournament seeing as she got enough money from the last tournament to, coupled with her saving, travel the country. But, she knew her Pokemon and it didn't take a genius to know that they would want to battle. She needed a chance to get to know Biscuits better, the two had trained a little more since the last tournament, but they still hadn't perfected their style together. It would take time, but all of her books told her that a competition like this was the perfect place to raise a Pokemon like Biscuits. To make matters worse, Alice could see strangers looking her way, whispering about her to their neighbors. It had been a small tournament, but word traveled quickly and she knew she had been labeled as someone to watch out for. She didn't consider herself a tough trainer, but she did consider her Pokemon to be strong. If they worked together, then they had a slim chance. However, with this many people staring at her, she felt like she was going to pass out any second now. She prayed that the tournament would start soon so that she could get out of the spotlight for at least a couple of minutes.
