He had felt as if someone had put him inside of a washing machine for a full load. He was full of water and was knocked around, now covered in grass and moss. All of his clothes had been charred from escaping the flames that he could no longer see or even hear. What could have caused such a thing to stop that kind of forest fire. He couldn't remember anything that had happened after running down a hill away from fire. He sat up and noticed two things. The first thing that he could feel was a long grumble of his stomach since he couldn't remember the last or even what the last thing that he ate, the other being that he was missing some items, some important some not so much. The most noticeable was that fact that everything was quite a bit fuzzier. Simon quickly realized that he no longer had his glasses that helped him see things from medium to far distances away. This was going to make things a little bit more difficult. He also noticed that he was no longer in possession of the wolf mask that he was bringing back to Talam. He noticed that he also was still wearing his necklace since it was the item that held the most weight on his body. He was going to take out a flower and speak to some spirit but realized he only had one flower left in his pocket but of course worse ... No fire. Not even the stick that he had used to carry the flame. How could things get much worse than now. When Simon realized the messed up things that had occurred so far he thought he wouldn't test his luck. Since his shirt was charred and the smell of burnt clothes was making it even tougher for him to concentrate at the moment so he decided to take off his shirt and put it in his pocket since there was so much missing that it was now small enough to fit. Instead of having the mask hang from his pants since they were now looser he decided to place the mask on his face. He was no longer sure of which way to go through the forest since the necklace was no longer guiding him anywhere, which slightly saddened Simon since he was virtually lost in this forest. He knew that standing still wasn’t going to help any causes, so he started walking in the direction in which he was facing; forward. After walking for two minutes, tripping over dozens of roots that were slightly to low to make out properly to avoid. After falling down the fourth time he landed right in front of a frog of unusual colors. He stared at it for ten seconds making sure it wasn’t some weird illusion, even to make sure he took the mask off of his face but rest assured it was the same colour. It was a cyan blue frog that he two orange stripes that started at his forehead and separated at a thirty degree angle and went over the back of its head. After examining the frog he decided to take him along as a travel companion. He picked the frog up with extreme caution and kept on walking through the forest.
