Derric glanced up to see the girl he had met from earlier and smiled cheerfully, waving at her through the crowd.

 "Alda, over here!" He called over the sound of the crowd. He hadn't gotten to know Tarvas very well yet, but he could already tell he wasn't much of a talkative fellow ... He was hoping that Alda could at least add some conversation over the meal.
