Kisuke turned his head toward a voice that was unfortunately far too to him and glowered momentarily at the interruption. The voice belonged to one Yoshi Kanada, captain of the Kendo team. The former three-star was full of himself, as per usual. Kisuke spun around toward him and smiled confidently at the senior. “Yeah, yeah, that’s right, everything I do is a joke to people like you huh? What, did you really think I would be doing something so despicable to the peons? Really?” Kisuke said with no malice or annoyance in his voice as he addressed Yoshi. But really, was that how the stuck up bastard saw him, as some horny pervert intent on debauchery? Well, it didn’t matter either way, an order was an order. But unfortunately that meant that he had failed in his task, at least to an extent. In truth it was his own fault. Had he bypassed his usual theatrics he could have been done with his task by now, instead of getting reprimanded by this close-minded fool. He sighed and nodded in affirmation to Yoshi’s orders. Kisuke spun around back toward the assembled no-stars and grinned at them. “Sorry kittens, looks like we’ll have to do this another time,” he said with a very convincing apologetic tone before casually walking away, his subordinates following in his wake. Jäger sighed in relief as the crowd started to rapidly disperse toward the assembly hall. “That was just…weird,” Jäger said as she headed in the same direction as the others. She was getting a whole load of mixed signals about the people in this place. Some of them seemed like genuinely bad people, others however she wasn’t so sure about. Kisuke for example. Despite what the two-star had said she simply didn’t get that kind of vibe from him at all. “So what was the point of all that?” she said more to herself than to anyone in particular. He had had her picture in that file of his, along with pertinent data. She assumed then that the same was true for everyone else assembled. What had his purpose been? Whatever it was it had clearly not been official business.
