Galvar at first did not recognise her but once he heard her speak he immediantly knew who she was, Esdeath his former friend comade but now traitor to Anah. This was the first time he saw her since her betrayal and he knew not how to feel, and while he was happy to see her again he remembered how furious and upset he was when he learnt that she deserted, for he developed feelings for her but she wounded him deeply. 

"Esdeath..." He began "I... I did not expect to see you here"
