It was with clear half-irritation and half-amusement that Alda left dinner, but she'd been in a good enough mood to wink back at Derric, and that could only be a good sign. ------ She woke early the next morning as she usually had back in Slight, took a reasonable amount of time to get dressed in the bland uniform, and do her makeup (which was more of a habit than an actual need; she'd probably just wipe everything off later). Still shaking off the mental cobwebs of sleep and not a very hungry person in the mornings, Alda grabbed a very small breakfast before making her way, still yawning, to the training area.
