Since the beginning of sailing the world humans have made stories of fish-like people following their ships and leading them to safety. While others told of these "Mermaids" as evil creatures that would sing songs to lure unexpected sailors to their demise. These tales were all dismissed as fairy tales and make believe...How wrong they were.

The year was 2025 and pollution in the seas were at an all time high due to no country making a giant stand against it. Beaches would be filled with the dead of fish and as researchers tried to tell countries about the problem it was already to late. In the Bermuda Triangle a place where mysterious disappearance's happen almost monthly it seemed a presence made themselves know to the world that was responsible for the Bermuda's mysteries. The "Tritons" as they called themselves, a race of fish like human species that had been in hiding for centuries and killing anything that saw their presence. However with the pollution and the constant ships on their land they have grown tired of the humans and declared war on the Human race. Their goal was to push the humans deep inland and sink coastal areas to add new land to their territory. The Tritons first target;Bermuda where they easily won but lost Triton warriors which were very valuable to this race since they were extremely outnumbered. 

So the Tritons with their advanced technology created monsters to do their dirty work. The first one attacked Miami called Over-ton where it destroyed 85% of the the city before finally being killed by multiple air strikes against it and this was just the beginning. Throughout the months more and more attacks on major coastal cities began. All of which ended with at least 50% of the city destroyed and so the UN meet to find a way to deal with this threat after two weeks of arguing back and forth a plan was finally agreed upon Operation Vanguard. Over the next 9 months scientist all over the world started to build giant robots called Vanguards to deal with the monster threat and on May 5,2026 the first one was launched called Victory Tango to protect New York City from the detected Kaiju heading to it. The fight lasted around one hour and the Kaiju called Deathknell was slain with only around 2% of the city affected it. After this astounding victory over 80 more were ordered to be made around the world.

The date is June 1st,2027 and the war has been raging for over a year but something is changing in the wind for the best or the worst. 

Now that we have that long intro done lets kill some Kaiju!



[hider=Info About Tritons,Kaiju,Vanguards,and Groups]

[b]Tritons[/b] The main aggressor is the Bermuda Tritons but their are a few others that have joined their cause. 

Great Lakes Tribe: A small group of Tritons live in the deepest parts of the lake luckily only Category 1s and some 2s have ever appeared and defeated. This is also the closet one the UN has gotten to planning an invasion soon. 

Dragon Triangle Tribe: Just like the Bermuda tribe only on the Pacific side of the world. 

Caspian Sea Tribe: Another small tribe that attacks the Russian and Middle East Front. 

Great Slave Lake Tribe: An extremely small tribe that has attacked the Canadian front but has been beaten back with a counter strike soon. 

The Kaiju come in four category's as created by Dr. Robert Frost during the fourth attack. Called the Frost scale. 

1:[b]Infiltrators[/b]: Are small only reaching around 35-50m tall they however can go into rivers and attack inland cities. 

2:[b]Brawlers[/b]: The most common type and are the ones most faced by Vanguards range from 50-60m. 

3:[b]Knights[/b]:A rare type that has only been encountered three times extremely dangerous Vanguards by themselves should avoid theses at all cost and wait for backup. 60-85m 

4:[b]Nightmares(Titans)[/b]: Only one has been discovered and attacked Cape Town the city no longer exist and South Africa in ruins to make it worse it wasn't killed and only retreated back into water. AVOID AT ALL COST!! Unless a whole Vanguard squadron is a viable even then its risky. 90m-???m.

Vanguards come in all shapes in sizes some specialize in hand to hand combat while others in artillery the only limit is size with the largest at 65m. 

[b]H.T.E(Humans for Tritons Expansion)[/b] 

A small radical group of fanatics that truly believe Tritons need more land and feel as if humans are to pay with near annihilation. Born from at first as a peaceful movement for Tritons and humans to get along but soon escalated as many members were arrested and some killed. Eventually the group started having spy's in the military and gave important details of locations of Vanguard factorizes. 

The group after an attack on the factory in Dublin,Ireland was called a terrorist organization by all members of the U.N. with members in any country arrested on the spot. However the H.T.E is still running with members infiltrating high ranks in the militaries of the world. Reports also indicate the group is developing Vanguards for there own twisted use.
