Hmm... No. Not quite. For armor? Yeah, say I have "Him" give you fire gems, and have them embued? You'd have fire resistant gear. So two ways I can have it play out. Support - could embue effects on allies or self with said gems he creates from mana. Or can just give them to some sort of smithy. Unless he is wearing said armor, he can change properties of it to doing field attacks. Another version of support is where he could just "Link" with someone and used the channeled essence to bolster their resistance, having one act as a tank, or he himself can act as a tank for the party against hostile magics. Regaurdless of what route, he is more likely to bleed. Not quite a "glass cannon." as he is a bit of a loaded explosive based on what is being used and what is prepared. So think of just a utility belt. Field control, not quite strong as compared to most characters. (I have been observing.) But capable of suprises and best works in field play and sneaking related activities. Positives - Magic guarding. - Burst combos. - Support. - Utility. - Great in single combat. (If prepared.) - Sometimes a mob if he lays traps. (But that requires a bit more preparation.) - Good for helping crafters. (Smithy, alchemist, so on. ) Cons. - He is weak otherwise if not prepared. - Taking on a hoard would require preparation as compared to a person who acctully studies magic. - Lacks the knoledge to be considered a real mage. (Cannot do conventional casting.) - Despite being a hybrid of races through mixed heritage, the only real advantage he has in mana generation and immunity to a certain something. - Asama. - Lack of knoledge of what is going on around him. (When the CS comes around after I speak to WS, you'll see what I mean.) - Aloof. Snide, but sincerely means the best for others. (These traits can really make others question him on a mental scale.) That is just the abridged version of what I have planned. I hope you guys like it.
Youve...just described a less efficient Caelum but replaced runes with gems.
