Slowly, Xeno's consciousness began returning to him as his eyes once more began to process the images before them. Feeling groggy and somewhat confused, he had begun going over the ridiculousness of the dream he'd had last night. A world beyond the caverns; preposterous , he mused, grinning slightly as he pushed himself to sit so he could claw at his eyes (the sableye equivalent of rubbing the sleep from them). The first thing Xeno became aware of was the light filtering through a window on the opposite end of the room, then the neatly arranged elevated areas and piles of material he'd recalled pokemon resting on, and finally he put two and two together. "Oh," the sableye breathed, allowing himself to flop sideways onto the ground. He hadn't been dreaming, though he certainly wished that was the case. But no- his home has nearly crushed him and his neighbors had wanted to hurt him, or worse. Now he was here, with those other pokemon; what were their names? Matt... John... and Aunty... he thought, spending only a moment trying to recall if those were correct. For now, it was good enough he supposed, and a quick glance around the sleeping quarters revealed none of them were present. There were a few pokemon here still but none of them were who Xeno was looking for, so feeling more than a little anxious the sableye crawled off on his own. The first place he found himself was outside, and a quick glance around revealed no familiar faces so he retreated back into the large dwelling. In a way it's many spaces reminded him of the caverns he knew so well, but they felt unnatural in how smooth everything was so he decided against crawling on the walls for now. Feeling somewhat purposeful, Xeno hurried around the next corner in hopes that if he retraced his steps from yesterday he might find someone. So after passing the sleeping area once more he followed the hallway that led back to where they'd magically been transported the other day. Then, low and behold, Aunty the Goomy was standing in front of the entrance to another area of the building with a pokemon that could float like Matt. "Aunth- um- you," Xeno called out, rushing over on all fours like he was afraid the Goomy would run off, even though it wasn't really capable. "Oh good, I found you; this dwelling is confusing to navigate," the sableye remarked as he drew closer, slowing down and transitioning to his hind legs only. Upon drawing nearer he became more aware of the other pokemon's presence, and looked up towards it with a slight air of confusion. "Are you another that I need to remember?" Xeno asked the driffloon, scratching the back of his neck as he continued to look upwards in order to make eye contact.
