Autumn looked over when Aza scooted a bowl of white, little cubes over to her. The child tilted her head in curiosity as she reached out and picked one up. She brought it close to her face and examined closely, having never heard or seen anything like it before. She had heard of sugar before, Nate had told her it was something that made stuff sweet but she had never seen the actually substance before. She gave the little square a timid lick before her eyes widened. It was sweet! She figured it would be but she had been wary all the same. Now she popped the cube in her mouth and crunched happily. She was about to reach for one but Aiden moved the bowl back over to Aza, stating she needed to eat something other than sweets. Autumn huffed slightly before she looked at the food in front of her. What were those little noodles with the yellow sauce covering them? She hesitantly spooned some onto her plate and scooped some up on her spoon. Having never seen macaroni and cheese before she didn't have a slue what it was. She took a bite and her eyes widened. It was good. A happy hum escaped her as she ate the pasta, legs swinging under the table.
