Despite the losses mounting against them, the Federation continued relentless. Earth and Sol was their home, it shall not fall to mere robots. The Federation ships quickly regrouped, at a surprising speed that would normally not be expected of a mere biological species. All of the remaining drones gathered into a large swarm, and began a assault on the LOCUST's only capital ship. Nanobot swarms soon followed, taking the destroyed wrecks of both sides and forging them into new drones to add into the swarm.

The rest of the Federation fleet spread apart, becoming very loose. This helped lessen the impact of the LOCUST'S nukes, as they unleashed a absolute volley of nukes, hoping to counter the LOCUST's own power.
