A stone statue of a gargoyle stood directly in the middle of the meeting place. It was at least as tall at two men, and had strange runes marked on it. It stood there, listening to everything that was going on, for in fact, it was not a statue, but a living creature. Specifically the representative of Botheil. The gragoyle's eyes glittered in the sun's light, burning a deep orange. The gargoyle would not move until it knew it was necessary and so just stood, waiting.
