[center]The prize corner was quiet, save for the melody that lightly chimed from the music box. There was a subtle shuffling in the room. The rattle of nuts and bolts accompanied by metallic steps grew closer the to prize counter. A screw rolled across the ground, coming to a halt at Alex's feet. The seconds tensely ticked by. Finally the tension broke as Foxy's head popped out from behind the counter, looking down on the hiding Alex with an open maw. The second set of metal jaws were visible through his fangs. His rusted hook began to reach out, but then stopped. The loud sound of Josué's reassuring voice echoed through the pizzeria. Then everything went dark. With all the lights out, it was almost impossible to see. A black silhouette still hung over Alex in the darkness for a moment. Then, instead of a maw coming down on his head or a hook clawing at his flesh, there was the sound of running. Ferocious, swift footed running. The heavy metal steps clapped against the ground fading away from Alex and vanishing into the hallway. Darkness surrounded the janitor as the power outage reached the hallways in which he walked. Turning his flashlight on, Salvador's vision became confined to the circle of light at the end of its beam. Something rattled. Then a shuffling sound. Then the sound of footsteps. Then Foxy. The flashlight flickered, managing to catch the tail end of the fox as he swiftly charged across Salvador's path from one doorway into another, both arms reaching forward. Something rattled in the hallway near the guard's office. As Josué's eyes struggled to adjust to the darkness, he could see something coming through the doorway.
