I'm gonna go to Bangkok for the second time next week.

So this time, I decided to check up taxi prices and etc before I went. I then realized how exorbitant the prices they were charging me and my friends the last time. They were charging us practically [b]four[/b] times the regular price. I was well aware we were being scammed but I let it slide because I didn't want to argue and ruin the holiday mood and because I was under the impression we were being scammed for a trivial amount.

But four times! Considering the amount of cab/tuk-tuk trips we took since we were lazy, that was a whole lotta money. Enough for two peoples worth of a decent buffet.
