(pre-fight) Nya laughed slightly at Seril’s question. Seril’s face echoed her amusement. “I wouldn’t use the word bad, per se. It was more…predictable. I knew you were going to lose. I should have told you ahead of time but I didn’t want to discourage you.” She slid down the wall to sit on the floor and motioned for him to do the same. “You should try to be more passionate about your fighting. That’s why he beat you. He wanted it more. Next time try to find something that gets your fire burning and focus on that. It’ll give you something to fight for.” She winked, then Sky called her name and she got up to face Colt. ---------------------------------------------------- (post fight) Ah, damn it. So it appeared that Colt could handle himself more than Nya had suspected. She had never been in a fight with that type of person before - someone who almost seemed intent on hurting her. It was the one thing she wasn’t able to prepare for by fighting with Codeeva. He would never have tried to hurt her intentionally. Sky helped Nya over to the wall as he barked at Colt about his behavior. While he motioned for the next couple to begin their brawl, Nya tried to rotate her shoulder. She couldn’t even make a full motion before she yelped in pain. Oh no. She turned to Sky. “I think my shoulder is dislocated. I….I can’t……it…..it won’t rotate.” She tried the same circular motion with the same result; a sharp, agonizing pain. She tried not to panic. She knew the injury wasn’t something that would last long term. She looked at Sky’s face. He was proud and stoic. She felt a strength radiating off of him. He wasn’t worried and seemed almost apathetic of her injury. She knew that she, too, should be apathetic. She evened her breath and looked him square in the face when she asked, “what would you like me to do?” [@kagethekiller] [@ScarlettWaters16]
