OK SO THE GROUND RULES ARE: 1. If Silicon uses Exposition too much slap him in the face because he's doing that weird thing again. 2. Don't just, "Use ember on the bad man!" Give yourself something awesome, i mean we are the best fucking ninja on earth, act like your fire can scorch through steel when you are determined enough to win. 2. Do, "Blast that sword out of his hand with Psychic, then make him punch his own face!" mechanically this is the same as, "make him harm himself with psychic" because if your roll is high enough, just about anything is possible, so take advantage of that! 3. Human limitations? Um... I guess some are not applicable like... well ninja run on water, up walls, and through your throat with a sword so superhuman feats are a given, but I mean its not like anyone is immune to burning in lava. 4. Naruto? Non-canon. Anyone can be the hokage, I don't care. You all can be hokage if you're willing to share the title. I mean 3 god like ninja is one hell of a military lol. 5. Mechanical rules will be made up as we go. I can't possibly be bothered with foreseeing out future. So if we wanna do something but we have no rules then were gunna make the rules ourselves. 6. Narrative? I'll do my best but feel free to throw in more challenges. I may or may not have a bad description: "the room was cold and dark with nothing to see but plenty to feel like the rocky floor and damp air." give it something like, "I held out my palm, summoning my inner fire to illuminate the room!" then you'd roll your dice if it meets a challenge rating then I'd be like: dude that was sweet, go ahead and narrate the next part cause you're so damn awesome! 7. Bad guys. i reserve the right to spawn the bad guys. 6. Mechanics. Here's what the mechanics are so far.
1. This system uses dice of various sizes from 4 up to 10 were each side of a die counts as a point. 2. We assign Cliches to ourselves by spending points on dice for cliches. We begin with 60 points. 3. No cliche can have more than 4 dice at the start. 4. You can spend double for your dice to "pump" at a later time (doubling a number of dice for a round but then losing an equal number after that round). 5. Your cliches are used for everything. Wanna climb that tree? CLICHE TREE CLIMBING SKILLS CAUSE YOU'RE THE GOD DAMN BATMAN OF THE FOREST. 6. In 'combat' which really means any contest between characters you'll roll your cliche dice and whomever has the higher number wins the round and the lose loses a die from that cliche. 7. In any contest if a cliche has 0 dice that character just LOST... possibly killed, eaten, or even worse (wedgie so bad the cloth was divided by 0). 8. If you for some reason make me laugh (as the judge) to the point where I literally laugh, not jsut say that 'LOL' nonsense then I'll award you +1d4 die to your cliche for being so awesome. That's how character advancement will work. 9. At the end of every mission you'll roll a cliche to get another advancement. If you get a die with the highest possible side then you'll get another die to that one cliche. 10. If something comes up unexpected like a cooking match and not a single person has cooking then we each get 2d6 to work with while anyone with a relevant skill gets +2d4 on their cliche. 11. The advance rules apply in another hider.

If a pokemon Demon is 4x resistant to a move then treat the foe's roll as 10 less. If a demon is 2x resistant to a move then treat the foe's roll as 5 less. If a demon is Immune to a move then it can still be hit as an "inappropriate cliche" according to the file. If a demon is 2x weak to a move then treat the foe's roll as 5 more. If a demon is 4x weak to a move then treat the foe's roll as 10 more. Now a thing about this is that this only works with pokemon demon vs demon. If a shinobi is attacking a foe along with a team of demons then it'll be treated as a team with no type advantage or disadvantage. Since people are getting teams of demons then each trainer shinobi will be treated as an individual team. You'll get 1 roll per body so if Shavodri used Taijutsu, Absol used Sucker Punch, and Blaziken used Blaze Kick then that's 3 rolls. However since the file says that the Leader of the team is more important compared to the others. So we'll treat the trainer Shinobi as the leader and the pokemon as subordinates. Lets say Shavodri uses a Taijutsu kick of 2d6 and 2d4 for a roll of 3, 5, 2, and 4. Absol rolls 5, 6, 1, and 2. Blaziken rolls 2, 4, and 1. They're all combining their attacks on a single target/team. The subordinates contribute their highest roll to the leaders by replacing their lowest die. So the Taijutsu kick becomes 3 4, 5, 2 6, and 4 for a total of 19. "Shavodri the Hellfire Brawler. Absol Pokémon Trainer: (22 points, 4 dice) 3 D6's and a D4 Taijutsu User: (20 points, 4 dice) 2 D6's and 2 D4's Blaziken Trainer: (18 points, 3 dice) 3 D6's" Statuses and Conditions. If a foe is under any status then they lose 5 points on their roll. Simple as that. To inflict a status you'll use the pokemon, since they all (most?) have access to Toxic you'll roll their dice against a foe's dice. If he loses then instead of losing a die on his cliche he'll get minus 5 on all his rolls. You can't stack statuses and conditions. If you use a stat boost move like Howl then you'll get +5 on your next roll, no matter what has been boosted. On the opposite side, if you lower a foe's stat with something like Growl then the foe's next roll will be -5. In both cases you'll need to roll against the foe's roll. If their result is lower then they'll keep their die but take the stat deboost if their is one. If their roll is higher then you'll lose a die and won't be able to use your boost on the next roll. Big thing though, you can't use this in a team setting. So in the example above if you use Sand Attack it'll be flavor instead of actual mechanics. Now if it gets too confusion or too overpowering to use status, conditions, and boosts/deboosts then I'll drop them. The last thing I want to make rping a mire!

This isn't a super serious table top game. Im here for fun. if you're here for not-fun then you can go because the door is literally every other link. ANYWAY. Arguments will be met with swift rolling of die. No matter if you're arguing over the smallest detail or the biggest derp in the history of rules lawyer it'll be down to the roll! That being said and done, LETS GET THE CHARACTER SHEETS DID AND DONE.
CHARACTER SHEETS: ---------------------- Name: Come on give me something to admire and laugh at. Hook: If you want some kind of handicap then you'll get 10 points. It has to be good though. Tale: If you want to give me a description of your character's history then you'll get 6 points. It needs to be like 8 sentences though. CLICHES: 1. 2. 3. etc ---------------------- HELP GUIDE: Cliches should be broad but not too general. Like, don't say "fire type pokemon cliche" but do something like "Houndoom Master!" Also that brings me to my next point, please choose specific [s]pokemon[/s] demons you'll be using. Also if you're looking for shinobi arts then naruto specialties are a good place like genjutsu, taijutsu, etc. Ninjutsu though, trying being a bit more specific cause this one is actually very broad. A whole lot of shit is ninjutsu but "tree ninjutsu" works. professions can be useful, I mean picking up cooking is never a bad thing, frying pans are like the most op weapon in the world. I'll tell you if something's wrong so if you manage to get away with it, congrats. TO JOIN PM ME A CHARACTER TEMPLATE AND LIKE.... a reason to join like, "I'M HERE TO KICK ASS AND TAKE TEETH"
