[b]Personality & Quirks:[/b] Although she is almost three centuries old, she acts like a child most of the time. She enjoys playing 'games' with her students, and often plays harmless but hilarious tricks on those around her. She can be serious if the situation calls for it, however that happens very rarely. While she attempts to confine herself to the classroom, she often will take her class on 'feild trips' around campus and the small 'city' around it to keep them in constant need to adapt to a new environment quickly. Very rarely has a student ever caused much trouble in her class, but if they were to do so they would find that she is very strict, and is not above keeping students in detention for days at a time if needed. In the event of an emergency, she is always able to act quickly and is prepared to keep a handle on it, whatever is happening. 
[b]Likeability:[/b] Most students, and teachers, like her because of her relaxed, playful attitude and her more hands-on teaching methods, even though her games can seem extremely childish at times. 
[b]Brief history:[/b] On the eve of her 15th birthday, Vivian was attacked and turned by a vampire who had fallen in love with her many years before, when she had been a small child. He turned her, and then took her to the academy so she could learn how to control herself as a vampire. When she graduated, they got married almost immediately (or mated if you'd prefer the technical term.) Now they live together in a large, modern-type house in the city surrounding the academy, and can be seen together around the city on their days off. Her husband can seem intimidating, but really he's just as kind and carefree as his wife. His name is James. 
James used to be a teacher at the academy, but he had to quit when Vivian was attending to keep himself away from her. Because of this, Vivian had wanted to become a teacher herself. The years up until her 100th birthday were spent studying and honing her skills in Illusion and teaching methods, and she was accepted as the Illusion teacher upon the retirement of the previous teacher a few weeks later.[/hider]

[b]Personality & Quirks:[/b] She is very good at dealing with any problems that her students bring to her, and is fairly serious most of the time. She will joke around with those she considers friends, and even some of her more adept students, and while she may seem cold at first she really is just weighing each possibility and action before she takes it. 
[b]Likeability:[/b] She is as professional as she could possibly be when teaching large groups, and is only a bit more casual when speaking to small groups and one on one conversations. She assigns a bit more homework than most of the other abilities teachers, and so her opinion among the students varies greatly. Her lessons are interesting, but students don't like book-work. 
[b]Brief history:[/b] Janus was born a vampire from a human mother and a vampiric father, her mother dying in childbirth. Her father raised her on his own, and she eventually atended the academy before she became an adult. After graduating, she really had no idea what it was she wanted to do with her life, so she spent a few decades traveling the world and exploring the ruins of the ancient world still scattered across the globe. Eventually, she was puled back to her roots for her father's funeral, and she decided to settle down and make a life for herself in her father's old manor on the edges of the city around the academy.
She became a teacher around the time when the Illusion teacher had started attending the academy, and has only adjusted her methods a few times in all those years. She has no family, unless you count her twin cats Dizzy and Sadao, who seem to never be too far from her at any one time. Dizzy is very silly and acts like a kitten, playing with the students and doing tricks for treats, while Sadao could be described as a cat-devil, rating out students who are up to no good to Janus and keeping students in line by taking and hiding things from them. The only difference between the two cats, is that Dizzy has a green eye and a yellow eye, while both of Sadao's eyes are amber.
