Kiddo and some what Michael
Kiddo sat down next to Michael. in the dining area. “My name is Kiddo. Happy to meet you.” Kiddo forced another smile, trying to act normal. “I’m not very hungry so I won’t eat, but I will sit with you. If that’s alright of course.”     Michael didn’t seem to object, he was just focused on the smell of food. Kiddo chuckled a little at how amused people can be over the smallest things. Kiddo then stood up and made his way to the nearest vending machine, buying another Big Red and then making his way back.     A lot of people seemed to be coming into the room, ready to eat an evening meal. Kiddo rested his head on the table as the whispers began to creep back into his mind. So many people were in the room. It was hard for him to think straight. It was hard for him not to want to know what each person looked like under the skin. He wanted to know, but couldn’t let himself slip away into a state of insanity that would get him noticed. Kiddo slowed his breathing, made fists and began to dig his nails into his palms. He had to get the voices to leave.
