Lance is what would happen if Deathstroke, Daredevil, Captain America and Spiderman had a foursome.

He is no Nick Fury, as Nick Fury likes to take charge, while Lance is a guy who needs directions.

[@RumikoOhara]..and while my guy isn't a hero in the traditional sense (as in does not always follow a no kill policy) he does spare street thugs and only hunts down other metahumans whom he thinks are trouble, or have the potential to be so in the near future. That being said, I'm gonna go ahead and say that he and Mundy are gonna have a bad start, should the latter budge in and start mauling the hostage takers.
