--This is a WiP, not at all close to being complete. There are sections missing information, and places that need to be entirely reworked.
Linidai Kaemikemi Konumekilome
The Lindai Systems Conglomerate
The Lindai are a humanoid type race, with few features to argue otherwise. They stand roughly between 5'9" and 6'5" making them of a rather average height. Their skin tones vary depending on the planet they were born on, with those from the homeworld being of a silvery sheen, and those of some of the outer colonies taking a darker reddish hue. The distinguishing features are their lack of a nose or ears, instead having small holes in their place. This is due to the organs being more internalized into the structure of their head, and despite this they still have an average sense of smell and hearing. Their eyes also take on darker, metallic tones, possibly hinting at the exposure to the large amounts of metals on the surface of their homeworld, and the colonies they settle. The Lindai also carry a series of muscles in their arms which are capable of generating electrical impulses when threatened, or with training at will. These electrical impulses were used by their ancestor race as a defense mechanism against the megafauna of their homeworld, as well as a primitive biological radar. Much of the Lindai's powered armor and neural-interfaces take advantage of this evolutionary leftover, and as such the Lindai can typically assume greater control of their technology than would be possible by non-augmented humanoids. Typical expected lifespan of the average Lindai is on par with human lifespans.

Unlike other nations, the LSC functionally does not have a government per se, the corporations that compose it making their own decisions and running things as they see fit. Where things come into play that requires the cooperation of the individual companies, a vote is set by the Chairmen and policy is enacted across the board. Because of this, there is in truth, no actual sitting head of the LSC, instead rotating out representatives and giving way towards whichever corporation is the most prominent at any given time. For the time being, Kalukaolani, Supreme Chairman of the Board for UNISEC is seen as lead of the Conglomerate with his harsh stance towards xenoforms and sweeping declarations towards the dominance of the LSC.

Most LSC forces are actually contracted from the corporation known as United Security Solutions, otherwise known as UNISEC. UNISEC maintains a broad range of vehicles and weaponry, meant to accommodate nearly any war-time situation. UNISEC also is the source of starships for the LSC, after a hostile takeover of Last-Breach Transportation, and has bolstered the fleet to a staggering 150 varied models of starships. The unfortunate downside to the highly trained, and exceptionally well-armed UNISEC security forces, is that they are for hire. UNISEC would think nothing of lending its forces to another nation's fight, and will in fact offer to do so for the right price, something that has lead them to be one of the foremost among the corporations to suggest an exploratory expedition outside the LSC's boundaries. - The Star Navy -

-Foreword - Power Generation Tech - Cold-Fusion, the Iron-Core Dynamo - Utility Tech - - Bio-Tech - - Offensive Tech - Somewhat despite their advances, the UNISEC divisions still use ballistic weapons, even though UNISEC has developed energy weapons far more advanced. This reliance on ballistics comes mostly from their early days as hunters on the homeworld, and where a ballistic weapon would kill, but an energy weapon would only anger. With that being said, their ballistic weapons are very advanced for what they are, with the UNISEC-MWS/01 being a fully modifiable ballistic weapon utilizing an electro-magnetic rail system to deliver a universal calibre round at staggering velocities. The MWS/01 also utilizes a built-in fire-control-system to calculate the weapon packs in use, and adjust the rate of fire and velocity of the bullet accordingly. Another invention of LSC design is a variation of the force weapon, called the concussion weapon. The concussion weapon utilizes power-fields around the striking area to react violently upon impact, often times emitting a large crack as solid matter is disrupted. LSC vehicles and spaceships utilize a wide variety of weapons, from the Macro-Cannon to the Graviton Plasma cannon, with a varying degree of efficiency. - Defensive Tech - - The Engram - Stemming from a historical disdain for artificial intelligences, the Lindai have long sought ways to surpass the mortal limits of the Lindai mind. With the development of the NIM, multiple minds could be linked together to pool their collective capabilities, but even still this was not enough. So it was that an enterprising scientist of Third Helix suggested to take their technology to the next level, and attempt the full integration of a living being into the Manifold. The result was not quite what had been expected, instead of a living being fully connected to the Manifold, what they were presented with was a consciousness stripped from its mortal shell and given new life within that realm of data. Being the first Engram created, the new being existed for some time in secret, studied by the scientists of Third Helix until they could reliably recreate it. What followed was the creation of a way for the Lindai to compensate for their wholesale refusal to use AI, to take those who were otherwise unable to serve the LSC, or were better suited in this new form. - The Star Dive - [FTL method, will get to it later.]

[Consolidating information]

Founded nearly a thousand years ago the Lindai Systems Conglomerate emerged from the remnants of the last government to rule the Lindai homeworld. With the death of their government, the Lindai people saw the mega-corporations step in and take control, forming a council of the most powerful executives of the Big 12. With the formation of the Big 12 Council, the Lindai saw a stabilization form that was a severe departure from the vague regulations of their previous government. No more did the corporations exist as bound entities to an ineffective governing body, but now they stood as actual organizations that flourished. As they grew into their new roles of power, the Big 12 established ground rules that would soon grow into the Dictations of Corporate Law, a massive tome that resides within the main lobby of every corporation that claims a part of the LSC. These dictations, while originally intended to keep the nation together, eventually evolved into a law that oversaw the entire nation, with many of the laws specifically for citizens. Though they are ruled by corporations, the Lindai people are actually fairly well off, many living in the comfortable "Middle-Class" with relatively few poor quarters among their colonies, and with such areas unheard of on the homeworld.
