Honestly, my 'end game' with Torrential at the moment was to head into House Moon and Star turf and destroy Canterlot. I even have a legit method/plan in order to do so. Even if some of the leadership [i]might[/i] be able to escape the trap, not all of them would; Along with the destruction of the house's administration and the symbolic nature of Canterlot's destruction as a signal that tolls the end of the reign of Celestia (And to a lesser extent, Luna), it would be a death blow for the house.
